Bird Poem

Kakapo poem
The daylight will fade and out they come
Beware of the flightless parrot of the night
Boom Boom ruffle scratch growl
Said the kakapo

Scurrying around on the soft forest floor
As they hunt they toss around the leaves and foliage
To look for there dinner moss, fungi and green shoots
Boom Boom ruffle scratch growl
Said the kakapo

As the sun rises over the horizon they wander
Back to their old hollow tree ready to sleep
Boom Boom ruffle scratch growl

Said the kakapo
