Chief Justice declares treaty 'worthless' and a 'simple nullity'

17/10/19
Today is New Zealand history Chief justice Sir James prendergast's was attorney-general from 1865 to 1875 and then chief justice of the supreme court until 1899 the case involved a block of land which had been given to the anglican church thinking that a school was going to be built though no school was built they were issued a crown grant to the land. Prendergast ruled that the courts lacked the ability to consider claims. the treaty of waitangi was worthless savages ho were not capable of signing a treaty. Though prendergast's ruling was based on either courts of appeal decisions, it would be used to justify the alienation of more than maori land.

The black peaceful ship gliding slowly and gently .

The crystal clear blue water rippling peacefully on the surface .

The wavey green ocean crashing gently along the horizon .

The mysterious white dove gliding slowly caring a sting of olives.

The fading rainbow arches gracefully leading around the ship.
